E- Invite `Sone ki Seedhi' - (Golden Stairs)

hello..

My job was here to design an e-invitation of the ceremony called `Sone ki Seedhi' means the golden stairs. This ceremony is followed by Indian people when a person sees his/her fouth generation child in their life. And when the fourth generation baby is born, all the family members held a function for the elderly person. They shower her/him with loads of wishes, sweets, golden flowers,etc. That's why they call it the golden stairs.

So I was provided with the image of the client's Grandma. And they wanted me to make an invitation with a funky and cute caricature of the Grandma. so as usual i made sketches.. proofed.. inked.. digitized.. colored.. composed it.

Such a long journey until your client is happy! :D
